Whether you're navigating one of our products for the first time or just need a quick refresher on how to cook something you picked up in the shop, we're here to help. Just use our simple guides below depending on with what item you'd like assistance.

In Painbois Wooden Containters

Such as chicken pot pies, shepherds pies, etc.

The wooden Panibois containers are made from sustainably harvested poplar and are oven-safe.

If frozen, run briefly under warm water to loosen into a saucepan.
Heat in a saucepan on the stovetop over medium heat until hot, stirring occasionally.

Thanksgiving Turkey Tips

To Brine or Not to Brine

If you purchased a white-hybrid turkey, we recommend brining overnight before cooking.

If you purchased a Heritage Black or Heritage Bronze turkey, brining is optional, but we do not feel it is necessary.

We do not recommend brining the Kelly Bronze.

Kelly BRonze Turkey Quills

The tips of the black quills in the Kelly Bronze turkeys are normal and expected. These birds are hand-plucked (not boiled), so some quill-tips remain. Most of the quills will burn off when cooking.
